Yanga SC defeated Aigle Noir in a friendly match on Sunday

51 minutes was just enough for Ghanaian striker Micheal Sarpong after five months off the pitch to start the scoring counter and new winning streak for his new side Yanga Africans that is based in Dar-es-Salaam.

In a friendly encounter aimed at introducing the new coach Zlatko Krmpotic, the new players and also to mark the end of “Wiki Ya Mwananchi”, Benjamin Mkapa National stadium was filled to capacity as they hosted Burundian side, Aigle Noir in what was an entertaining match for the people’s team.

Yanga Africans squad for 2020/2021 season

In the 39th minute, Tuisila Kisinda opened the scoreboard before striker Micheal Sarpong in the 52nd minute for Yanga Africans, the latter a former Rayon Sports player.

Yanga Africans is set to start the new season on September, 6th 2020, facing Tanzania Prisons at Benjamin Mkapa National stadium.
