Uganda Futsal League | Action Set To Start Early Next Year

The Futsal Association Uganda FAU has confirmed that Uganda Futsal League action has been rescheduled.

Ground Sports confirms from the FAU that the Uganda Futsal League which was slated for November 2020 has been rescheduled for early next year in February 2021. This came in as a result of the high spread of COVID-19 in the country especially the Kampala region, strict rules and regulations by FUFA, hence all member stakeholders agreeing to extend the commencement of league action.

We remember that February 2021 is going to be a busy month for FAU as they confirmed that there will be both coaching and referring courses offered for coaches and referees in order to up the game of Futsal in the country.

Eight teams will participate in the upcoming Uganda Futsal League from the Six of last season 2019/2020. And these clubs are;

1. Park Fc Kampala central.

2. Yeak Fc Rubaga.

3. Aidenal SOSA Fc Entebbe.

4. Mengo city Fc Mengo Kampala.

5. Dream line Fc Lubowa Wakiso.

6. KJT Fc Kampala central.

7. Kisenyi Fc Kisenyi Mengo.

8. MUBS Fc Nakawa.

This means there will be 4 games on every matchday and games are played every Tuesday at the MTN Arena Lugogo and also there will be more games for Futsal fans to watch come Feb 2021 when league action kicks off.
