Young Adolf Muhumuza is a one time African Zone VI Championship winner in 2015 who captained the Uganda National Team to the victory of this prestigious tournament.
Currently, Adolf is a senior coach at AFRIYEA Golf Academy and mostly enjoys training young kids of 4 years to 10 years. The kids love Adolf because he is inspirational to them. “I emphasis discipline, hard work and academics since these are the core values of AFRIYEA Golf Academy,” said Adolf Muhumuza.
Adolf Muhumuza joined the national team at the age of 16 and played his debut on the seniors and juniors in the tournament that was hosted by Cabro Sun Club in Botswana during the year of 2010 and 2011.
Adolf Muhumuza was named the Uganda Tiger Woods because of his game performance between 2012 to 2017. This nickname meant that he was unbeatable during that spell. As this that was not enough, he was again written on as the RISE AND RISE and it is from this year when he won his biggest accolades such as the BURUNDI Open in Burundi, Onito Memorial in Jinja, Eskom Open in Jinja, Shell Open in Toro, Mukwano in Toro, and Uganda Open second position (lost in playoffs)
Adolf Muhumuza is a pioneer coach at the AFRIYEA Golf Academy who started when the academy was founded in September last year and His skills come with great value to the young golfers. Adolf plus other coaches at the academy have helped students win trophies take an example Tia Nsemere and Bashil Atuhaire at the Kasese Open.
