Mr. Ramesh Feroze appreciated the management of AFRIYEA golf academy AGA for a job well done. He mentioned that the youngsters are the next generation golfers who will replace the aging generation and also emphasized golf etiquette. He asked to be an Ambassador of the academy and this was accepted by the management of the Academy and his Ambassador role will commence in January 2021.
“Here at AFRIYEA Golf Academy, our aspiration is to produce the most disciplined, hard-working, educated, and God-fearing young golfers that can represent Uganda’s national golf team and play at the PGA (Professional Golf of America) tours,” said CEO Isaiah Mwesige.
“One month after the start of the Academy, our students went to Kasese Juniors Open and showed a tremendous performance where 5 of our students won, Atuahire Bashil, Tia Nsemere, Shilla Kasembo, Edward Rubongoya, and Amon Bwambale. Our Academy has spotted kids who were playing golf with wooden sticks and they have been well taken up and helped and now we are further looking for individuals or companies which push them even with schools fees because AFRIYEA believes that Golf is one way that can pave away for the kids to achieve their academic goals,” he added.
The CEO thanked all the parents for trusting the Academy with their kids and promised to keep on supporting the students with all-round knowledge. He further asked the kids to maintain good discipline, hard work, and to stay in school. Isaiah believes by having the mentioned above principles, the kids will achieve their dreams.
“Thanks for giving me the opportunity to give a comment. I am extremely delighted to see young girls and boys achieve skills in sports activities like Golf. You have a whole future ahead of you. I urge you to focus on the game and maintain discipline. Do not forget to also focus on Academics. Congratulations,” said Patron Doctor Edward Nyatia.
