The Bank of Kigali Basketball National League BKBNL All-Star game will take place Saturday, 20th November 2021 in Kigali Arena.
The full complement of names and faces participating in the most exciting basketball festival in Rwanda have been unveiled. The two captains for the 2021 BKBNL All-Star Game, Olivier Shyaka and Dieudonné Ndizeye, drafted their rosters.
The team selections were conducted this Monday in the FERWABA office with captains and coaches picking the names to fill the rosters for this Saturday’s 3rd All-Star Game in Kigali.
Among 24 players voted in as part of a combination of fans, federation technical & competition commission, media, and coaches’ votes; Olivier Shyaka, Aristide Mugabe, Ally Kubwimana, and Pascal Niyonkuru hold the record for most All-Star Game selections since they participated in the 2013 and 2019 editions.
The 2020/2021 BKBNL MVP, Olivier Shyaka selected REG BBC guard Wilson Nshobozwabyosenumukiza, APR guard Armel Sangwe and Patriots centre Bush Wamukota to start alongside himself and REG’s Beleck Bell.
Joining Guibert in Team Ndizeye’s starting line-up are REG centre Elie Kaje, IPRC Kigali forward Bruno Nyamwasa, and REG forward Pascal Niyonkuru

This All-Star event featuring Basketball 3*3 challenges, 3 point shoutout and slum dunk contests are all fun and entertaining to conclude the 2020/2021 Basketball season. Following a guest appearance at the 2020 NBA All-star event in Chicago, Nigerian star Rema is expected to entertain the Basketball lovers in Rwanda through the Visit Rwanda campaign.
