Soltilo Bright Stars FC were beaten 5-4 on penalties by Proline FC in the 2018/2019 Stanbic Uganda Cup final.
Vipers has made the previous two Cup finals, winning one and losing one against BUL FC on both occasions.
The two Uganda Premier League clubs, Soltilo Bright Stars and Vipers SC were drawn against each other in the semifinals on Thursday morning at FUFA House in Mengo.
The first leg of the semi-final will be contested between May 14th and 15th at St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende, then follows the second leg between May 20th and 27th.
If the Venoms defeat the Bright Stars, they will play in their third successive final of the season, in addition to attempting to win a double trophy.
Stars are currently 11th with 28 points compared to Vipers sitting in 3rd place with 39 points in the Uganda Premier League
