The Burundian Football Association, FFB has announced the dates for the start of the second leg of the Primus League.
In accordance with the decision made by the FFB Executive Committee at a meeting held on 26th December, a calendar has been released indicating the start of the second leg of the Burundi Primus League. The matches of the 16th round are scheduled for January 09, 2021. The most-anticipated game of MatchDay 16 will be in Makamba province at Nkurunziza Peace Park between Aigle Noir and Vital’O.

In the 15 rounds played, Muyinga’s Olympic is leading with 27 points followed by Flambeau and Rukinzo with 26 points. Muzinga is still trailing at the bottom of the table with 7 points.

The second leg games are expected to begin with changes in the technical staff. Hussein Nahimana resigned from his duties at Inter Star and the responsibilities have been given to his former assistant coach, Abin Habimana. Diomede Ngabonziza has been promoted to the head coach post in Olympic Star and Jean de Dieu Rukundo takes over in Musongati.
