With a string of signings, including Charles “Neymar” Lwanga, Stefano Mazengo, Ashraf Mugume, Brian Aheebwa and Andrew Samson early in time for the upcoming league, a promotion from the KCCA FC soccer academy has seen a new lad, Dominic Ayella join the kasasiro boys as they strive to strengthen the side as league contenders.
The 18-year-old was unveiled in style at the club home grounds at Lugogo, arriving in a personalized license plate vehicle. Talking to KCCA media, Ayella stated, “I am very grateful for the promotion, it is a dream come true and it has been hard work to reach here. I have put much effort to get this chance. As a forward, I hope to score many goals, and always make sure that I contribute more to the team to win.” The lad is a student at Masaka Secondary School and an admirer of Ugandan soccer star Allan Okello and world-renowned start Neymar.
KCCA FC coach Mike Mutebi has expressed confidence in the young player saying, “We have prepared them (Junior team players) to have confidence, they are young but they believe in themselves. He is a good addition, the game needs energetic players who can run 90 minutes nonstop and he will add something to the team. We lost creativity when Okello departed, we looked flat and we hope to look better next season”
