The Rwanda Premier League continued on Thursday with matchday 3 games. In the four games that have resulted in nine goals and three Red Cards, Etincelles FC had two red cards in one match including a special Card given to Ismael Uwihoreye.
In a match played at Umuganda Stadium in Rubavu District, Etincelles FC lost 1-2 to Musanze FC led by Head Coach Innocent Seninga on matchday 3. In this match, the Home side’s goalie, Emmanuel Nsengiyumva also Known as Biganza was sent off early in the first half but Musanze didn’t gain from this opportunity and the first half ended 0-0. In the 64th minute, a young Ewing Ndagijimana scored from the spot-kick to hand the visitors the lead and then 4 minutes later, Ismael Uwihoreye’s goal brought the score level pegging.
Uwihoreye, after scoring the equalizer, took his shirt off in celebration, and he had already been booked. The referee sent him off the pitch, then Etincelles with 2 men down struggled to defend Musanze FC until a former Etincelles FC player and Rubavu homegrown scored his second goal to give Musanze the 3 points from the game.
