The Futsal Association Uganda, FAU has begun its preparations for the 2022–23 Futsal Super League (FSL) season with the publication of the season’s club licensing requirements.
Five criteria—sporting, financial, legal, infrastructural, and administration—have been developed from the requirements to make it simpler for clubs to register and enable them to play in the Futsal Super League.
Each requirement has a percentage score assigned, and only teams who achieve a score of 80% or above will be qualified for inspection and given a license to compete in the future season.
On Friday, May 5, 2023, all FSL Licensing requirement documents must be submitted by that time.
This season’s Futsal Super League registration fees are set at 1,000,000 Uganda Shillings for clubs that wish to participate in the league.
Following the licensing procedure, FAU will publish the 2022–23 schedule on May 8 in advance of the season’s start on March 21.
