Vipers head coach Fred Kajoba believes that the time has come for his side to reach greater heights in the CAF Champions League.
Speaking at a press conference at St Mary’s Stadium – Kitende, head coach Fred Kajoba has expressed his confidence in the team and how they can make it far in the continental competition.
Vipers Sc has represented Uganda on numerous occasions and they have the experience but not as much as their opponent Al-Hilal Club from Sudan. Kajoba said, “What is important is that we know that they have experience and we also know that they have Jamal (Omar Jamal Salim Magoola) in goal, my player in the national team, but we expect that our intentions as Vipers, we want to go to group stages and I believe that we shall fulfill.”
“We believe that we the coaches, our players and our leaders, this is the time for Vipers SC to go far in this championship,” he added.
The club recently announced its squad ahead of the 2020/21 league campaign scheduled to start on December 3rd, 2020, when they will host the newly promoted side MYDA FC.
Vipers SC will host Al-Hilal Club in the first leg tomorrow Saturday, November 28th, 2020 before they travel to Sudan for the return leg.
