In preparation for the Rwanda Premier League, which is set to begin on December 4, 2020, teams continue to prepare by playing friendlies.
Today in Bugesera, Gasogi United hosted Mukura and beat them 1-0. Bertrand Iradukunda scored the 50th-minute lone goal of the match, Iradukunda signed for Gasogi from Mukura last season where he scored for the latter 12 goals. This was Mukura’s first game since sports resumption in Rwanda, while Gasogi was playing their fifth match.
In previous matches, Gasogi defeated Etincelles 1-0, lost to the Marines 2-1, lost to Gorilla FC 3-1 and drew 1-1 with Vision FC.
In other matches, at Kigali Stadium, APR FC warned Bugesera FC by beating them three goals to nil with a brace from new striker Yannick Bizimana before Danny Usengimana converted a Penalty.
In the north of the country, Musanze FC hosted Marines FC in seven-goal thriller game. Musanze won the game 4-3. These teams played another match last Sunday at Umuganda Stadium, and Marines were beaten 3-2.
All these games are being played behind closed doors to prevent the spread of the Corona Virus.
