KCB Nkumba-A’s Grace Akiror earns a huge accolade form the Uganda Sports Press Association.
Grace Akiror was awarded the accolade of Best Female Volleyball Player Of the Year at the recently concluded Uganda Sports Press Association USPA Awards. She plays for the defending champions KCB Nkumba-A a team from the education institution Nkumba University.
She is a Ugandan female volleyball player born in Bukedea district. She is an Outside Hitter standing at 180 cm. She has won 3 titles for her side and has was called to represent her nation for the first time at the Zone 5 All Africa Games Women’s Qualifiers in 2019.
KCB Nkumba-A won the league last year in November after overwhelming KCCA women’s Volleyball club at the playoffs. Grace Akiror was instrumental in guiding her side to winning the league title.
