Uganda Volleyball Present Hadija Namanda expressed how glad she was to have an opportunity to stand for the post of Gender Minority at the 2020 elective congress.
Sunday, October 25, 2020, the 2020 Elective Congress was held to decide the next leaders of the volleyball governing of Africa (CAVB).
Uganda Volleyball Federation (UVF) president Hadija Namanda was among the candidates who stood for Gender Minority against Zone VI Agness Nakaonga KAKOMA from Zambia and Mpho PALIME from Lesotho.
Unfortunately, UVF president did not emerge victorious after Lesotho counterpart won the election. Talking to Ground Sports, the president expressed how delighted she was to have the opportunity to stand for the post at that level.
