Defending champions Kenya Prisons Volleyball Club fire warning shots off to opponents as they launch title defense.
In Late 2020, the Kenya Volleyball Federation prepared for the start of the new league campaign by setting the 22nd of January as the serve-off date. Last weekend was the launch of the new league where plenty of games saw contention teams in both women’s and men’s categories.
Women’s side Kenya Prisons were tasked to prove that they are champions in the league opener against KCB Volleyball Club. The first two set scores showed that Kenya Prisons had their work cut out with KCB clinging on. Set 1 and 2 ended 24-26 and 26-28 respectively.
KCB came back to win the 3rd set 25-21 making Kenya Prisons job a little bit harder but the champions gained the upper hand in the 4th set to register a win and also fire warning shots off to other opponents who want a bite from the champions cake. The game was streamed live on the Madgoat TV Facebook page.
