Kenya Volleyball Federation had in an Executive Committee session concurred on commencement dates for the National Volleyball League.

It is coming close to a year without cutthroat volleyball activities in the East African region apart from Rwanda who concluded their league in November. The Kenya Volleyball Federation KVF has agreed on January 15th-17th as to when the National Volleyball League will start.

The CornaVirus has seen the suspension of sports activities all over the world with players of volleyball, especially, staying mostly inactive without competitive activities.

CAVB had organized for some activities to happen late this year but owing to COVID-19, these were also postponed to dates next year that have not yet been released. The Kenya Volleyball Federation taking a sturdy step to start its volleyball activities amidst the unparalleled situations is a wake-up call for other federations in the region to adapt to the new normal.

December 19th, KVF will hold a technical meeting at Nyayo National Stadium to conduct the draws and also deliberate on other matters related to volleyball.
