First-half goals from Namanda Wafula and Victor Omondi earned Musanze a 2-0 win at Kigali Stadium that took them within three points of table toppers.

Musanze FC comfortably beat Gorilla FC 2-0 on Wednesday, October 12th in the Rwanda Premier League matchday 5. Gorilla played most of the second half with a man less as Emmanuel Uwimana was sent off in the 69th minute.

Namanda Wafula’s breakthrough goal early in the sixth minute was soon followed by a second from Victor Omondi in the 23rd minute to secure a huge three points for Frank Ouna’s side. They move to third place, three points behind league leaders Rayon Sports.

Gorilla stands in 6th position with 7 points in 5 matches. In the next assignment, they will travel to Rubavu to face Rutsiro while Musanze will be hosting Sunrise at Ubworoherane stadium.
