Ndejje Back To Start What They Ended With The Ndejje University Volleyball Open

Ndejje University Volleyball Open

Ndejje University Volleyball Open was the last before closing sports and the tournament is back to start volleyball activities.

The Ndejje University Volleyball Open marks the start of volleyball activities in the country after a long volleyball drought. The open was the last time we saw volleyball from the UVF calendar right before all sports were stopped because of the pandemic.

The tournament usually comes right before the new league serves off and is a good time for clubs to showcase their talents and pre-season preparations. However, this time is far away from the league start as a new calendar has been adapted.

The Ndejje University Volleyball Open attracts many teams across all series in the National Volley League both in men’s and women’s categories. So far 17 men and 11 women’s teams have confirmed participation.

The Volleyball Open will be played from 24th to the 25th of April at the University sports grounds. Final confirmation for teams will be made on Saturday, the opening day of the tournament after a technical meeting early in the morning at the Ndejje University.

The defending champions from the men’s side after defeating host Ndejje, Nemostars will not participate as they traveled to represent the country at the 2021 Men’s Club African Championships in Tunis, Tunisia.
