The Nyanza Technical Secondary School volleyball team extended its undefeated streak with a dominating win over Rusumo High School this Saturday, February 25, defeating them 3-1 in Kirehe.
Nyanza TSS continues to dominate the National men’s volleyball league Serie B group B with a commending victory over Rusumo HS. The win marked the 5th of the season.

Today, away, they responded from a one-set deficit to beat Rusumo 25-22, 17-25, 26-28, 20-25. With this result, they maintain their position at the top of the standings with 15 points

A very promising results for the Butansinda-based club, led by Theoneste Ntakaberaho “Kidiaba” as the head coach
With back-to-back victories over extremely talented teams, Ntakaberaho’s team is on an incredible run of form. They defeated Nyaruguru 3-0, PSVF 3-0, G.S St Joseph 3-1, UR-Busogo 3-1, and now 3-1 against Christopher Serugo coached side, Rusumo HS.
So far in four games, Rusumo has only managed one victory.

Nyanza TSS will play St Trinity Ruhango at an undetermined date to complete their six first-leg matches.
Nyanza TSS and Rusumo HS are in Group B alongside Petit Séminaire Virgo Fidelis Karubanda, Nyaruguru Volleyball Club, Groupe Scolaire Saint Joseph Kabgayi, UR-CAVM, and Ecole Secondaire Ste Trinité Ruhango. The top two teams will advance to playoffs and face the other two teams from group A.
