The Rwanda Primus National League is back in action after a two weeks international break. Table-toppers AS Kigali in action against Gorilla FC while Kiyovu takes on the Cops in the highest-profile match of matchday 3.

First up is the 3 pm encounter at Rusizi Stadium between Espoir FC and Gicumbi FC. Espoir has become stronger slowly but surely under the stewardship of Moussa Gatera. He has built one of the most promising squads in the RPL which made them a team that is damn hard to beat.

Espoir FC will be looking for their first 3 home points of the 2021/2022 season while this will be Ghyslain Bienvenue’s first game in charge of Gicumbi.

At Kigali Stadium, AS Kigali kick off the third round match action of the Rwanda Primus National League at 3 pm local time when they host Gorilla FC. The current table-toppers, AS Kigali keen to keep up their winning streak against Mudaheranwa’s Club.

Gorilla FC once again won’t have Sékou Somparé on the touchline and more info says that both parties are preparing to part ways. Today, coach Edward will be in charge against citizens. Edward’s side is now on a two-game winless streak.

Gorilla’s Tharcisse Nshimiyimana continues to miss out on an injury while Fabrice Kakure Mugheni is back in training for AS Kigali. Following the incident in the National team, Olivier Niyonzima is available for today’s encounter too.

Tomorrow, Friday, SC Kiyovu lock horns with Police FC at Kigali Stadium. Two teams that haven’t quite reached their team chemistry yet, and both sides need to bounce back from the defeats suffered in matchday 2 of the Rwanda Primus National League.

Kiyovu has to be more disciplined at the back if they’re hoping to obtain 3 points this Friday. Francis Haringingo, Kiyovu head coach has a point to prove against his former club.

Police have not yet met their expectations this season. Frank Nuttal’s charges have managed three points from the first two league games and cannot afford another poor result on Friday.

In other Friday Fixtures, Rutsiro FC, one of the six league sides yet to pick up a single win thus far, will visit Kigali Stadium and take on Guy Bukasa’s Gasogi United.

Rayon Sports host Bugesera on Saturday while Etincelles FC versus APR FC has been postponed until further notice.
