RPL: Friendly games are in full swing as preparations for the league

Rwanda Premier League, RPL teams return to training and are also playing friendly matches in preparation for the Primus National League which will kick off on May 1, 2021.

After playing its first game against AS Kigali last Saturday and losing 3-2, Gorilla FC, on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, will travel to Bugesera to face Gasogi United.

AS Kigali is also heading to Rubavu to play a friendly match with Marines FC. This match is scheduled to take place at Umuganda Stadium on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 15:00

Rayon Sports will play their first friendly match against Bugesera FC on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Bugesera Stadium. The Bugesera district team is looking to play its second game, following a 1-1 draw against Police FC last weekend.

The Rutsiro district team Rutsiro FC which host their matches in Rubavu district, also plan to play a friendly match against APR FC in Kigali on Thursday 22/04/2021. SC Kiyovu is also planning to play Police FC on Thursday.

Rwanda Premier League, RPL will be played in a special format after it failed to start on time due to the Corona Virus outbreak. The kickoff date is set on May 1st, with Fixtures not yet released but expected to be announced not later than Wednesday.
