Rukundo A Glimmer For Sport-S Against OBB, Win Over KAVC Makes It 3 In Row For The Nsambya Based Club.

Rukundo

Rukundo was arguable ahead in the game for his club collecting the most points as they hosted Iganga based side OBB.

OBB who started the new National Volleyball League 2021/2022 high with 2 wins, one against KAVC 3-0 and the other against Nkumba University 3-0 had not yet lost a game until they locked horns with Nsambya based club Sport-S.

Coach Waren locked horns with OBB’s Yakan in what one could have called the National Club Championship men’s semi-final that was never played. For OBB, it was an unfortunate day as they did not head home with another win that would have made it 3 in a row. As for Sport-S, it was maximum points picked from that win.

National team material, Rukundo Johnson, who plays for Sport-S was the main highlight of the game after he made sure that all blocks that landed on either OBB’s blockers or past them were converted into a point for his side.

Sport-S come into this season strong and with the third win against KAVC 3-1, throwing them at the summit of the league table.

Ongom Ivan still stands as the best player for OBB following a tremendous display of action throughout all the league fixtures that his side have honoured.
