Rwanda’s Beach Volleyball delegation is set to leave the country for Agadir, Morocco on Saturday, June 19, 2021.

In Morocco, the delegation is expected to present 4 pairs of teams in both men’s and women’s categories that will participate in the qualifiers games of the Olympics scheduled this year in Tokyo Japan.

Olivier Ntagengwa paired with Patrick Kavalo Akumuntu and Venuste Gatsinze paired with Fils Habanzintwari will represent Rwanda in the men’s categories.

Whereas Charlotte Nzayisenga and Valentine Munezero together with Benitha Mukandayisenga and Seraphine Mukantabana will be Rwanda’s flag bearers in the women’s category as the country of 1000 hills pursues this maiden ticket.

In preparation for the games slated for June 19th to 28th in Agadir, the teams held a residential camp in Rubavu. These 4 pairs will also participate in the upcoming Rubavu Beach Volleyball 2 Star Tour and should they clinch the ticket to Tokyo, the tour will serve as preparations.

These qualifiers will bring together 24 national teams in the men’s competition and 20 on the women’s side.
