CHAN 2020: Rwanda head coach Vincent Mashami named squad to start preparations

In preparation for the 2020 African Nation Championship, CHAN, Rwanda Head coach, Vincent Mashami has called on 31 players to start the residential camp in preparation for the tournament scheduled in Cameroon next month.

The Tournament was initially to be played during January and February 2020, but it was moved to April before being postponed again to January 2021 because of COVID-19

Amavubi will enter into the camp tomorrow, Wednesday after undergoing COVID19 tests and they will be training at Amahoro Stadium twice a day.

Rwanda is in Group C with Morocco, Togo, and Uganda. And Amavubi will play their first game against Uganda on the 18th January 2021

Rwanda has participated in the CHAN finals 4 times out of 5. Only in 2016, Rwanda managed to advance from the group stages to enter the quarterfinals.
