Head Coach Edward Kaziba is determined the hard work at SC Villa ahead of the 2020/2021 campaign will pay off.
The long unprecedented break away from football activities came as a blow for many clubs but this has not been the case for SC Villa. The break was time for the club to overhaul and there is no dought that the Club has taken various steps to get to greater success.
A new club structure was released at an event held at Sheraton Kampala Hotel Ballroom in mid-October that showed how club ownership should return to the public with the VIlla Members Trust Club. the registration of club members was a success.
The Club has also continued with the overhaul by bringing onboard more sponsorship deals including a 3-year partnership with Ultimate Fitness Kampala and the latest addition to the SC Villa family is a 5-year partnership with Ecopharm and Aspire Medical Center.
In a statement on SC Villa website, the club is joyful to be back in group training. “The club’s target this season is to entertain and win with style. We finished third last season, an improvement from the previous season. As a progressive club, we must aim higher this season. We are Sports Club Villa,” said Head Coach Edward Kaziba.
“We have added in a few young talented players whom we think will easily grasp the technical team’s tactics so that together we can propel the club to the highest level. They are blending in very well and fast although it takes time to catch up with the playing style of the team,” added Coach Edward Kaziba.
The new campaign is set to KickOff on Thursday, December 3rd, 2020 and SC Villa will travel to play BUL FC in the league opener the following day.
