Vipers SC signed Congolese sensational Striker Manzoki Manzoki Cesar Lobi on a 2year deal. He joins after ending his spell with Congolese side As Vita and becomes 2nd International to join after South Sudanese Joseph Dhata.
Manzoki Lobi has featured for TP Mazembe and Dauphin Noir Dr Goma. And he immediately hit the state of the art gym at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende as he prepares for season 2020/2021.
In other news former Vipers SC shot-stopper Ismael Watenga born in Nakaloke Mbale is settling in well at South Africa side Mamelodi Sundowns and is likely to replace Uganda cranes Skipper Masinde Denis Onyango.
AFCON QUALIFIERS U20 AND U17:
FUFA appointed new technical staff for both U20 and U17 who are in preparation for CECAFA games to come in December 2020.
FUFA appointed the personnel on an interim basis for a period of 6months citing that most of the coaches are already engaged with club football.
The appointment includes.
U20(HIPPOS):
- Byekwaso Morley – Head coach.
- Masaba Simeone – Assistant coach and Fitness.
- Kiggundu Steven Billy – Goalkeeper coach.
- Luke Michael – Team Physician.
U17(THE CUBS).
- Lutalo Hamzah – Head coach.
- Ssenyondo Brian – Assistant coach.
- Kyesimira Arthur – Fitness coach.
- Kiberu Mubarak – Goal Keeper coach.
- Kabatalindwa Mable – Team physician.
The CECAFA ( Central East Zone qualifier) will determine the teams that make it to AFCON U20 and U17 finals in Mauritania and Morocco respectively.
CECAFA GROUPS U20:
Group A: Tanzania (Host), Rwanda, Somalia, Djibouti.
Group B: Uganda, Burundi, Eritrea, South Sudan.
Group C: Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan.
CECAFA GROUPS U17.
Group A: Rwanda (Host), Eritrea, South Sudan.
Group B: Uganda, Ethiopia, Kenya.
Group C: Sudan, Djibouti, Tanzania.
SC Villa, on 30th October 2020. Jogoo family kicked off the Villa Members Trust registration. Villa fans joined club officials to register for the member’s Trust. FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo was present to register too. He challenged all Sc villa fans across the world to be a part of this cause and be members of the Trust to help Villa Ssalongo Jogoo to get back to the glory days. The President spared some time to cut and enjoy the cake with Sc Villa fans and officials.
Express FC have released Vipers SC danger man Disan Galiwango who has been with a transfer saga with his former club. He was released after fulfilling FUFA dispute resolution chambers ruling. CEO Isaac Mwesigwa had this to say. “We are very happy that has come to an end, In all this football wins and the club wishes Disan a great career ahead.”
