The Patriots extended their winning streak in the Rwanda Basketball League to 13 games with a convincing 80-65 victory over Espoir BBC on Friday night. Meanwhile , Manga Pitchou’s 40-point performance powered REG BBC to a dominant win over the Titans.

On June 28th, at LDK Gymnasium, the Patriots continued their dominant run in the Rwanda Basketball League, extending their win streak to 13 games and claiming the top position in the league with an undefeated record so far this season.

Led by coach Henry Mwinuka, the Patriots have yet to taste defeat this season, triumphing over every opponent they’ve faced, including Espoir BBC, in both first and second leg encounters.

Patriots’ William Kiah Perry scored 21 points on 8-19 shooting from the field, including 4-12 from three-point range, helping his team secure a victory against a strong Espoir BBC side.

Cadeau de Dieu Furaha and Dieudonné Ndizeye Ndayisaba also contributed with 15 and 13 points, respectively, as the Patriots shot an impressive 38-61 from the field throughout the game.

Ronald Nato Kolmia led Espoir BBC with 20 points, but they struggled with a 25-60 shooting performance.

Earlier, REG BBC’s Kambuy Manga Pitchou dominated with 40 points and 14 rebounds in a convincing 122-87 win over the Titans.

In the standings, the Patriots lead with a perfect 13-0 record, followed by APR at 12-1, REG in third with 11-3, and Espoir in fourth with 8-5.

The Patriots’ coaching staff and players display effective coordination, evident in their leading position in the standings.
