Uganda NVL Action Back Heading Into Week 3

The Uganda National Volleyball League NVL is up and running as clubs head into week 3 with action across 3 series for men and 2 series for women.

Following the gradual resumption of sports in the country, the Uganda Volleyball Federation has come in full swing with the main activity on their calendar, the National Volleyball League NVL heading into week 3.

After the conclusion of the National Club Championships in Kabale, attention has been put on the main league NVL that has the top tier teams in Serie A for both men and women back in action to contend for the title.

The league was launched on 23rd October 2021 at Old Kampala Arena with two entertaining matches from KAVC VS OBB in the men’s and KCB-Nkumba VS Ndejje Elites in the women. Click here for results from these games.

This season brings 10 teams in the men’s top flight Serie and 8 teams in the women’s top-flight Serie. OBB a new entrant into the top flight has proven to be a force to be reckoned with after winning all two of their current fixtures against 5-time league champions KAVC and University side Nkumba.

This season, the Uganda Volleyball Federation has spiced up the entertainment by streaming the games live on their YouTube channel for fans staying at home and not allowed to gather in big numbers.
