Vital’O Finally Register Their First Win

BURUNDI: Flambeau Hold On To Table Summit Seat As Primus League continues

Vital’O, the most successful club in Burundian football, on 27th September registered their first 3 points of the Primus League campaign 2020/2021. This happened in the 4th round at Intwari stadium in Bujumbura.

Before they were hosted Flambeau du Centre, Vital’O was last in the rankings. They got off to a good start with 2 goals in the first ten minutes. The goals were scored by Tresor Shyaka and Ndabarinze Felicien in the 5th and 9th minutes respectively. Vital’O controlled the game for the rest of the time.

Vital’O moved up to 15th place from the last place. They will travel to the north of the country in Ngozi province to face former champions Le Messager. 10th placed Flambeau with 4 points will host Les Elephants.

Elsewhere, Musongati FC with 10 points have only drawn once against Les Elephants at Urunani stadium in Cibitoke province. They are at the top of the table.
